Julia Buruleva is a photographer and creative director based in Barcelona. Specialized in concept, fashion and advertising photography as well as motion and videos, her projects take her to various locations around the globe. She is a Gold Member and Spotlight Photographer on PhotoVOGUE. As a commercial photographer and visual artist at the same time, Julia is just as intensively involved with her personal art projects. She virtuously combines these two areas into a whole.
Julia brings her creative art vision to commercial shootings and makes the results so extraordinary and unique. Her play with backdrops, objects, models, light and decoration gives the viewer a surreal impression.
In moving images, Julia creates her own theater full of almost strangely disconcerting, visually strong aesthetics, thus creating timeless images.
She moves with virtuosity between photography, performance and installation and stages psychedelic images with an amazing atmosphere full of beauty and mystery.
